FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
This page answers common questions about how the WWE 2K Remastered system works, what it affects in-game, and how to use it correctly.
What is WWE 2K Remastered?
WWE 2K Remastered is a structured system by creators HypeDC for configuring WWE 2K gameplay to produce more realistic, TV-style AI matches. It combines Attributes, AI Move Settings, Archetypes, Tendencies, Personalities, and Sliders into a single, coherent model.
Does WWE 2K Remastered change gameplay mechanics?
No. WWE 2K Remastered does not modify the game itself. It works entirely within WWE 2K’s existing systems by configuring them correctly.
No mods. No external tools. No save edits.
What does the Filter App do?
The Filter App lets you quickly look up:
- Attributes
- AI Tendencies
- Personalities
- Hit Points
- AI Move Settings logic
It is designed to reduce setup time and prevent mistakes when configuring large rosters.
What is an Archetype?
An Archetype defines how a wrestler is intended to behave in a match. It influences:
- Match pacing
- Move selection priorities
- Risk tolerance
- Ground vs standing behavior
Archetypes are behavioral models, not move lists.
What does “AI LOGIC” mean in the App?
AI LOGIC corresponds directly to an Archetype. It describes the wrestler’s overall behavioral profile rather than individual stats.
If two wrestlers share the same AI LOGIC value, they should generally be set up using the same Archetype guidelines.
Why don’t matches start with big moves?
Because realistic matches build over time.
WWE 2K Remastered enforces:
- Early lock-ups and positioning
- Higher strike-to-grapple ratios early
- Escalation toward late-match finishers
This prevents AI spam and creates natural match flow.
Why are diving moves restricted?
In-ring diving moves are restricted to avoid early spam and poor pacing. Even high-flying styles are designed to build toward dives rather than open with them.
Ringside or situational dives may occur at any time due to natural risk and positioning.
Why do ground moves feel limited?
Ground move repetition is intentionally restricted to prevent AI loops.
Most ground attacks are set to occur only once per sequence so matches end with meaningful standing or signature moves instead of random ground strikes.
Do I need to change gameplay sliders?
Yes. WWE 2K Remastered is designed around simulation-style sliders.
Extreme arcade settings or altered stamina/reversal rates may cause matches to feel off or break intended pacing.
Always verify sliders before changing Attributes or AI Move Settings.
Is this system suitable for Universe Mode?
Yes. WWE 2K Remastered is specifically designed for:
- Universe Mode
- CPU vs CPU simulations
- Large rosters
- Long-term saves
Stability and consistency are prioritized over frequent changes.
Why does the system update slowly?
Because frequent changes break trust and force unnecessary rework.
Updates are only made when they:
- Improve realism
- Reduce AI exploits
- Clarify usage
If something works, it is left alone.
What is included for free vs premium?
Free access includes:
- In-game and DLC superstars
- Core system explanations
- Basic App functionality
Premium access is intended for:
- Custom / CAW archetypes
- Advanced configuration guidance
- Time-saving tools for large rosters
Premium features expand the system but do not replace the fundamentals.
Why is this no longer fully free?
For years, everything was free — including updates.
What changed is scale. Maintaining accuracy across thousands of wrestlers and game patches now requires ongoing verification. Premium supports that work.
Is free still usable?
Yes. Free remains complete and functional for in-game + DLC rosters.
What am I actually paying for?
• Time saved
• Stability across patches
• Large-roster accuracy
• Monthly confirmation when nothing needs changing
Is free still usable?
Yes. Free remains complete and functional for in-game + DLC rosters.
What is the biggest mistake users make?
Changing multiple systems at once.
Always adjust in this order:
- Gameplay sliders
- Attributes
- AI Tendencies / Personalities
- AI Move Settings
Skipping steps usually causes pacing issues.
Are updates forced?
No. Some months require no changes — and Premium will tell you that clearly.
Is this system “finished”?
Yes — in the sense that the foundation is stable.
Future updates will refine and clarify, not reinvent.
Will Premium content leak into Free?
No. Premium data is license-locked.
Is this worth it late in 2K25??
Yes — especially for Universe players.
Premium also includes 2K26 transition support.
